ROAM Journey in Bali: Inspiring, Helping, and Sharing Happiness

Over six meaningful days, ROAM embarked on a service journey across Bali, bringing the spirit of change and compassion to various communities. Each day, the Roamers not only worked hard but also shared joy with many children and families. Here’s a glimpse of their journey:

Day 1: Bringing Colors to Kupu-Kupu Foundation

The journey began at Kupu-Kupu Foundation, where the Roamers helped renovate bookshelves, repaint walls, and repair the bale (traditional pavilion) for the children. Alongside their work, they spent joyful moments playing and creating unforgettable memories, topped off by giving special gifts to the children.

Day 2: Touching Hearts at Suwung Center

On the second day, Roamers visited Suwung Center, a community living near a landfill site. Here, they helped build a home for one family and created a water filtration system to support the community’s clean water needs. They also shared laughter and played with the children and local residents, strengthening bonds of togetherness.

Day 3: Building Hope at PAUD Kumara Dharma Santhi

At PAUD Kumara Dharma Santhi, Roamers lent their energy to construct new, proper toilets for the students. They also donated a brand-new playground set and refurbished the existing playground, creating a safer and more fun space for the children. As always, they ended the day by playing, bonding, and giving thoughtful gifts to the little ones.

Day 4: Sharing Knowledge at SD Efata

At SD Efata, the Roamers split into two groups: one prepared care packages filled with basic necessities for the children and teachers, while the other group taught English to the students. To support a more comfortable learning environment, they also donated an air cooler to the school.

Day 5: Saving Nature in Desa Ped, Nusa Penida

The fifth day took Roamers to Desa Ped in Nusa Penida. Without wasting any time, they dove into action, working hand in hand with local children and Pak Barik to rescue and replant coral reefs. Their collaboration created an inspiring and lively atmosphere, contributing to the conservation of the ocean ecosystem.

Day 6: Wrapping Up the Journey at Niti Mandala Club

The journey concluded at Niti Mandala Club, where the Roamers once again shared positive energy with children from diverse backgrounds. They taught the importance of resilience and maintaining a bright smile through every challenge, leaving a lasting impact and memories filled with joy.
